With the Geneva Lake breeze blowing the wind chimes on the front porch of the 100+ year old house he grew up in, I chatted with historian Patrick Quinn. His upbringing and career are completely fascinating in their own right, thinking his father was dead for most of his life..but wasn’t, to his near death experiences during his activist Civil Rights times in Selma, to his 34 years as an archivist at Northwestern University. But today we focused on his vast knowledge of the Lake Geneva history, much of it firsthand.
