Meet Your Host
Karen Strey Rappaport
With a BS in Education from the University of Illinois and an MS in Education from National Louis University, Karen developed her impeccable organizational, communication and management skills as a teacher. She then transitioned to become an award-winning realtor on Chicago’s North Shore, earning President’s Circle recognition for top sales.
Karen realized her dream of moving to Geneva Lake – her “happy place” since childhood. Karen resides in Fontana with her family. In addition to her love of real estate, she is a devout animal lover, and was President of a large humane organization as well as a licensed humane investigator. On her personal time, Karen enjoys walking the shore path with her dogs, boating on the crystal clear waters of Geneva Lake, and skiing on both water and snow!

In 1989 the Village of Williams Bay purchased this beautiful natural area on Geneva Lake. It has been a place for all to enjoy without any taxpayer money. All donations are always appreciated for the ongoing efforts and programs to keep KNC the pride of the community.

Harry Melges IV

Harry Melges IV grew up sailing on Lake Geneva ever since he was about six years old. The first boat he ever sailed was Melges 24. Ever since Harry was 13 years old, he has wanted to compete in the Olympic games for sailing. Along with Finn Rowe, he is currently a member of the U.S. Sailing Team at 18 years old.

Finn Rowe grew up spending his summers in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin ever since he was born. He started sailing around the age of 7 years old. As he grew older he began to develop his sailing in both involvement and the overall variety of boats. Along with Harry Melges IV, he is currently a member of the U.S. Sailing Team at 18 years old.
